eak is located in the depths of Bipenggou Tourist Scenic Area, Li County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It belongs to the Jiuzhaigou Miyaluo Gold Tourist Route. It is more than 250 kilometers away from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. It takes about five to seven hours from Chengdu to the base camp. On May 4, 2004, seven climbers successfully climbed an unclimbed peak, and the peak was measured to be 5,430 meters above sea level. The peak is hidden behind a ridge, so there is no name for the peak in the local area. According to the shape of the peak, the first climber named it Half Ridge Peak.
