It is one of the five major freshwater lakes in China and a national key scenic area. Yuantouzhu, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, is a peninsula in Wuxi on the northwest coast of Taihu Lake. It is named for the large stone that protruded into the lake, which is shaped like a floating turtle. It is one of the main attractions of Taihu Lake Scenic Area in Wuxi.
