Champagne grapes are permitted to be grown on this hill. The most common grape variety on this hill is Pinot Noir. Around the village are 189 hectares of vineyards owned by approximately 100 different winegrowers. The Champagnes grown in Ville-Dommange are classified as Premier Cru, the second-highest gradation in Champagne.
