d sea krait (Laticauda colubrina) moves directly toward the underwater camera across an Andaman Sea reef, continuing its hunting search with no behavioural response to the scuba diver's presence. This indifference is characteristic: the species evolved with no mammalian predators and has no instinct to fear divers.
